Some interesting updates to ASE.
Specifically:
- Max workers is now 100
- You can also have up to 100 app service plans
- Use all V2 compute resources with SSDs making them much faster to startup and carry more workloads for higher app density.
- Simplified portal to create apps and manage plans and not worry about workers (workers get spun up automatically).
- Portal is on parity with the multi-tenant version of App Services.

This is available in all Azure regions, including:
- Germany Central, Germany Northeast
- USGov Iowa, USGov Virginia, US DoD Central, UsDoD East
- China North, China East
